Our goal is to raise money and awareness. Most are unaware of what our vets go through until it is too late. The awareness aspect is something that is helpful to all of us. Whether you are a concerned citizen or whether you have worn the uniform, awareness is key to a happy and healthy being.
Funds and contributions is the second piece of this. Our vets won't heal without it. Whether it funds new equipment or funds the travel expenses for a veteran to receive treatment, there is no shortage of need.
Raising awareness isn't always as easy as it seems. Often a cause finds itself competing against one that is new and trending or another that may have been previously established and is already longstanding. The point is that in order to be successful, perseverance has to take place. We have utilized many of the tools at our disposal to help us persevere. We inherently believe that even though this mission is being done for our veterans, it applies equally to all American citizens.
We have a responsibility to our Veterans. Whether you agree or not, we as Americans shoulder this responsibility and we want an easy fix to the problem. There isn't one. It takes time, effort, compassion, patience, money, and help. It's a extremely rocky path that we have to take, but we owe it to those that stood tall to watch over us and we owe them more than a simple thank you!
