Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame to Toledo, OH
As anyone who has taken a road trip knows, music is a key element in making the trip successful. Rock n' Roll has it's own place in American history and it's roots are firmly seated within the heart of every American. We begin the day where all of the Rock Icons are showcased, The Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame. Musics larger than life legends are prominently on display for all the world to see. Come out and join us as we celebrate one of the great many ways America has made it's mark on the world!
From there we begin the journey west along the coastal byway towards Toledo. This is one section that takes us off the main routes and affords us to take in some necessary scenery that just isn't found anywhere else!
From Toledo, we continue our westward and northerly push. Our route takes us through the Windy City of Chicago. Home to more than 2.7 million Americans, Chicago is the 3rd most populous city in America. The city has a storied past that includes the Great Fire of 1871 that destroyed much of the city at the time. From the ashes arose the city you see today.
Our day ends in Milwaukee, WI. Milwaukee is the 5th largest city in the United States. Home to Miller Park and the famed Milwaukee Mile. The Mile was formerly home to the Dairy Bowl and hosted the Green Bay Packers from 1934 to 1951. The start-finish line now sits where the 50-yd line once stood. Milwaukee is also known for it's 'iron'. Harley-Davidson calls Milwaukee home and has produced iconic motorcycles for over 110 years. Signature motors from the early Flatheads, Shovelheads and Knuckleheads to the newly designed Milwaukee Eight have powered the various lines since 1903.
